Preliminary visual/story development for an original pitch. Blood Sucker is a sapphic vampire noir set in the isolating world of the 90s tech boom.
Kahli Bahadur is isolated - a quiet IT worker of the booming Bathory industries. She’s unpopular and quiet despite her prodigy status until Kahli suddenly begins to change - a sudden ravenous hunger begins to fill her, and she’s met with sudden bursts of strength and agility. This change earns her the confidence to begin frequenting bars as well as attracting the close scrutiny of her boss.
Its at one of these bars that Kahli learns what satiates her hunger - blood. And she’s becoming less and less confident that she can control it.
